Jonathan and Tori operate Jonathan’s Snow & Landscaping as well as the Carp Garden Centre.

Jonathan Merchand

Jonathan begin working in the industry at the young age of 15 at the prestigious local nursery Whitehouse Perennials. Working here he developed his exceptional knowledge of superior plant material and plant care.

Throughout the years he expanded his skill set by attending the Landscape Technician program at Kemptville College, working for a local landscaping company, and working for a greenhouse operator in Montreal.

During his time in Montreal, Jonathan learned specialized skills in greenhouse management and rare plant propagation.

In 2013 he expanded his snow removal business to include lawn care, and due to customer demand began to expand his business into all aspects of landscaping.

Jonathan’s Landscaping now offers full landscaping services and thanks to its fantastic reputation for quality work has worked primarily through word of mouth.

Tori Renaud

Tori joined the company in 2014 after completing the Horticulture Industries program at Algonquin College and completing her co-op placement at Whitehouse Perennials. Her career began much earlier than that as she grew up working and involved in the industry as her family operated their own landscaping company.

Landscape and garden design is her primary focus, however she has her hand in all aspects of the company. Her philosophy is that quality plants placed in the appropriate location is the one of the keys to great gardens.
